Rahul Dravid may play in the first test

Rahul Dravid who injured his right hand fingers during the ODI series is recovering well and is expected to be fully fit in time for the first test match. In the unlikely event of Dravid missing the test, Laxman will lead the Indian team. During the practice session for a tour match against a South African side, Dravid and Ganguly were involved in a long discussion. Speaking to the press, he said that the Indian team can claw back and put up a good show, he also said that with the exception of Zaheer Khan, the bowling is very inexperienced. He remarked Ganguly can play a match winning innings and prove himself.
