Ashes : Australia lead 2 - 0

The second of the Ashes test series ended today as Australia wrapped up another victory over the England cricket team. The England team really looked out of form against the strong Aussies. Captain Ricky Ponting once again played a match winning innings by scoring 49 runs to pair up with the century he scored in the first innings. The catch which Ashley Giles put down in the Australian first innings proved costly for the touring side as Ricky Ponting went on to score over 100 runs from 36.
Chasing a score of just over 160 Australia cruised through in control at the loss of just 4 wickets. Earlier Shane Warne had take 4 crucial wickets to trigger a England batting collapse.
